What's the difference between what's shown in the Plan tab and Chance of Success?
The Plan tab shows a deterministic view of your financial future based on your account balances, income, expenses, growth rates, and other factors.
The Chance of Success tab represents a range of possible outcomes for that same plan by running multiple trials with historical or probabilistic data. These trials introduce variability, meaning milestones, investment returns, dividends, and inflation data will vary compared to the deterministic settings in the Plan tab.
Both use the same underlying plan information, but the Plan tab shows a fixed path based on your inputs and growth assumptions, while Chance of Success tests your plan against historical and probabilistic scenarios. All other tabs follow the values and assumptions from the Plan tab, not the outcomes in Chance of Success.
